Die Diet Die

This should be music to most people's ears; it's fact that 'most' diets are actually bad for your health. Most of you who have dieted will know, dieting doesn't make you feel good or look good!

One thing you should not do this year is DIET!

By simply dieting without exercise you slow down your body's ability to burn fat - your metabolism. So when you come off your diet, you are at danger of putting all the weight back on - twice as quickly!

The quick fix weight you lose during crash dieting is mostly muscle and water, not stored fat. If you eventually manage to get your weight down through dieting alone, it can cause a somewhat gaunt appearance with no muscle tone.

Dieting has lots of other horrible side effects. Your energy levels sink quickly, your breath starts to smell, your hair starts to fall out, it’s not a good look. If you’re tired, hungry, lifeless and grumpy you're not much fun to be around either.

Here's another fact:

There is something that makes you feel good and given time it can help you look good too. Its called EXERCISE and it doesn't need to be tough, it just needs to be progressive.

  • Monday – Follow exercise programmed (A) on your membership profile.
  • Tuesday – Go for a walk, jog or a run with a friend or as part of your local WJR group.
  • Wednesday - Follow exercise programmed (B) on your membership profile.
  • Thursday - Go for a walk, jog or a run with a friend or as part of your local WJR group.
  • Friday - Follow exercise programmed (A) on your membership profile.
  • Saturday AM - Go for a walk, jog or a run with a friend or as part of your local WJR group.

The exercise programmes on the website cover all muscle groups. The more muscles that become active the better, the more energy / fat you will burn throughout the day.

Our signature WalkJogRun programme is progressive and effective plus it's free and socially rewarding. You will meet lots of like-minded people on a similar journey.

If you combine 40 minutes of exercise 3 - 6 times a week (the more exercise, the quicker the results) and eat the right foods at the right time of day (with help from the LCC app) you can start to burn your body's stored fat, tone up your muscle - FEEL GOOD / LOOK GOOD!
